The Tampa Bay Area Chapter of Meeting Professionals International (MPI) hosted style guru and event planner extraordinaire, Colin Cowie, for a special event and speaking engagement at the Tampa Convention Center. Cowie, whose A-list celebrity clientele includes Oprah, Tom Cruise, John Travolta and Hugh Hefner, is also a well-known author, television personality and owner of one of the country’s premier event planning, catering and design companies, Colin Cowie Lifestyle. Cowie is a regular contributor to the CBS Early Show and a frequent guest on Oprah. The planner has penned numerous publications, and Grand Events of Florida was honored to be chosen to provide decor, as well as sponsorship, for the event.

The lobby of the Tampa Convention Center was transformed into a chic black and white lounge with furniture, draping and modern floral arrangements. The silent auction area was brought to life with fresh floral arrangements and interesting table displays helping to bring people to the bidding and raise money for the organization.
